Get your taxes done using TurboTax
I'm one of the many with self-employment income that zeroes out after being automatically entered in Form 8960 but still causes an error that leads to my return being rejected by the IRS, in my case on Monday, Feb. 6.
I posted separately about it, asking the same question many are asking here: When will this be fixed?
From multiple threads about this error, what I can glean is that a) it's an IRS problem, not a TurboTax problem, b) it's on an IRS fix list and c) the fix is supposed to be done by late February to mid-March, though some posts indicate it may be fixed by as soon as Feb. 10.
I'm just going to wait and keep checking for the fix so I can re-file electronically. It's not worth risking the delays of both mail service and IRS paper return processing when I'm expecting a refund. If it's still not fixed by mid-March, well, then I'll reconsider. My approach for what it's worth.
