Get your taxes done using TurboTax

Your identity was not stolen, your credit card was stolen.  Go back and tell the system that your identity was not stolen at all.

 

If your identity is stolen then someone else files a tax return using your name and social security number.  In that instance the IRS issues you an identity protection PIN that has to be entered into your tax return in order for it to be filed.  

 

This is not the case with your credit card which has been shut down and replaced.
