This is caused by description entry from last year carrying forward to this year. The easiest solution would be to enter a zero when asked for the amount of other income, but that approach may still cause you problems in the future.
A better solution is to find the other income description and remove it:
- Select Federal on the left side menu.
- Select Income and Expenses.
- Expand/ scroll down the list and find the section called, Less Common Income.
- Scroll all the way down and select Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C.
- Select Other reportable income.
- Answer the first question Yes.
- If you see a description entry here, click Delete to the right to remove it.
- Continue through the section until you find the entry from last year. Once it is removed, you can finish your tax return.
