If you are using TurboTax Online you can follow these steps to review your state return and update your information:
- Within your tax return click on Your State Returns under the State Taxes section of the black menu bar on the left
- Click Edit for your Kansas return
- Continue through your state entry questions until you get to the Homestead Refund screen
- This is where the information for the form KS-40SVR is gathered so be sure to answer all the questions
- Proceed entering/reviewing your return
