you must e-file your federal to be able to e-file the state. even if you e-file today the federal balance doesn't have to be paid until 4/17/2023 which can be done online through IRS Direct Pay or through the use of a Debit or Credit card or even a digital wallet. With Direct Pay you can schedule a payment today to be withdrawn from your bank account on 4/17/2023.
