You likely don't have an excess HSA contribution. To remedy your situation, you need to go to the Deductions and Credits section in TurboTax and flind the Medical section and look for 1099-SA, HSA, MSA and complete that section. Most likely, you have a problem with the answers to the questions regarding what type of plan you have and what contributions or distributions were made that involve it.
