I got the following error when filing my federal and state returns:
Spouse's Adjusted Gross Income (AGI)Reject Code IND-032-04
I checked the transcript for our 2021 AGI and inputted the exact number from our joint return, but got this error twice, so I'm not sure what to do. This is the exact number that the IRS has on file. The only issue I can think of is that my spouse did not have a social security number (or pin?) at the time of filing in 2021, and our tax preparer just didn't input anything in that box.
Any suggestions what to do? Thank you!
