We need some additional information in order to provided an adequate response. Are you filing Married Filing Separately? MFS has a much lower standard deduction amount versus Married Filing Jointly.
Also, can you provide some additional information about the nature and character of your income. For example, is it all wages? Do you have any capital gains/losses, or rental income? Also, have you reviewed your withholding amounts to ensure they are accurate? Lastly, do you have any dependents or qualifying relatives?
