Suggestion for TT. Automated email from TT should change "To Update Your Return. Once you've opened your return in TurboTax, the details about what needs updating will be displayed..." is not helpful at this stage and actually adds to the frustration. Should replace this with a message that current updates do not address the problem and update again after 2/5/23 before resubmitting.
