Thank you. I submitted a refund request though I should advise others that refunds are not guaranteed. Turbo Tax says that once you submit payment that is an acknowledgement that you were satisfied with the service. In this case, it wasn't necessary for me to file, and I should have been advised of that.
If your income falls below the IRS filing requirements, then Turbo Tax should advise you that a return is not necessary. In my case, the minimum income was about $14,000 while my declared income was only $5,000. For the past 7 years I have paid to file an unnecessary return.
I feel like I've been ripped off.
