Thank you for this question. You are correct in your listings. All of the above mentioned can be written off as an expense of the rental. In addition, you can take depreciation for a full 27.5 years if you choose. Property taxes, cleaning expenses, repairs, mortgage interest are among the many expense deductions that you may claim. These are but a few of the deductions available when renting a home. Also be aware of the downside which could include naughty renters and squatters
