My 22 year old daughter started her first full-time job this past Sept. Until then I was supporting her. Can I claim her as a dependent from Jan.-Aug. 2022? Or do I have to decide whether or not to claim her as a dependent for the whole year. If I was supporting her for 8 (out of 12 months) can I claim her as a dependent for the whole year? Also how will it impact my taxes (amount due) when I no longer claim her as a dependent?
