Hi, for children 18 years or older who have been disabled before the age of 22 and continue to be disabled, Social Security benefits may be paid to them if they retire, or become disabled. Social Security benefits for disabled children may continue as long as they are unable to work because of their disability. You can claim the dependent, as long as she is disabled.
