- Who filed first, you or your son? We filed my sons return first because everytime I tried to submit by taxes it was rejected. So after we amended my sons taxes (forgot to state he is a dependent on us), then I mailed my taxes in to the IRS and NC.
- Did your son claim a refund on his original return? If so was the refund received before you filed an amended return? Yes he was supposed to get $64 back from IRS. He never did get his refund.
- When I check on his amended return it continually says they received it on March 20, 2022. However, it has not been processed.
- Have you received any notices from the IRS or NC? No
