Howdy! I was successful, via awesome lawyer at winning 8+ yrs of fighting in a lawsuit to get my job back vs. a "city government". Backpay and my job were awarded to me (March 2022) which came to the tune of several hundred thousand dollars. From this award I had to pay my lawyer the agreed upon fee, just over $150K. Can this fee be deducted from in my 2022 filing?
