Taxes on my Belgian income
I'm an American citizen and I receive retirement income from Belgium where it is taxed.
I'm married and we file our taxes joined. My wife has only income in the US.
Because of the tax treatment between the US and Belgium, I have to declare my wife's American Income in Belgium, but I'm only taxed in Belgium on my Belgian Income.
But in the US we're taxed on my wife's American Income and on my Belgian income.
I thought we don't have to pay taxes on my Belgian income, because it is already taxed in Belgium. How do I avoid paying twice taxes on my Belgian Income?
