This played out exactly as I had stated. I received a 1099-SA that indicated a withdraw for excess contributions in calendar year 2022. This will be filed with my taxes in a couple of months and that's when I'll pay taxes on the excess. The last open question is whether I pay a penalty or not. TurboTax will likely figure that out for me. Thanks again for the support earlier this year!
