Yes, they said for unemployment, there are no taxes withheld, as I only got income via PUA (pandemic unemployment assistance). So I believe their claim is correct and the filing with Turbotax was incorrect.
For the federal refund, taxes ARE withheld as I chose that option for PUA and I am being sent $965 for my 2021 tax refund.
I believe Turbotax screwed up my tax return in their algorithm saying I'd receive $2,065 in addition to $965.
