You should have downloaded an executable (.exe) file to your computer, which you need to run to actually install the S/W. Once installed, you will want to open the program and go to the "online" tab at the top of the screen and check for updates. My problem was finding the program after each update, it did a restart and disappeared and left no shortcut to reopen it. I ended up having to go the the C: drive and search for "TurboTax" to find where the program was installed to open the program. Hope this helps.
