@jeffecohen - suggestion: set up a dummy tax return in your 2021 version of desktop TT.... unless there were material changes in NYS, it'll be 'close enough'
for the federal return, line 16 should be 'close enough' (and overstated by 2-3%), once you get beyond Line 16, be careful as many of the tax credits expired between 2021 and 2022 (be sure Lines 28 and 30 are blank of you take this approach)
