as stated the earliest is normally late in January; however, if you are eligible for EITC, by law the IRS can't begin to process them until mid-February.
Employers and other financial insitutions are required to send out their documents by the end of January and many wait until that very deadline.
what we find on these boards are those who rush are the ones that later have to amend.
