From what I understand Mint and many of the other tools use screen scrape to get the data from financial institutions. It looks like Plaid doesn't do that.
I can say Fidelity full view also fails for USAA credit cards so I doubt the issue is with Mint. USAA likely changed something that breaks the ability to screen scrape the data. From a recent conversation with support at USAA, they said USAA is only using the last 4 of the account. I wouldn't expect any tool doing a screen scrape to work without a full account number. Supposedly my incident is escalated to their level 2 support. But the ticket has also been open for 3 weeks and the previous 3 tickets going back to September were all closed with no contact or update on the problem. Not sure I have high expectations for this ticket to be fixed or updated
