If USAA implemented better security and new API updates, kudos to them, I'd rather be more secure than continue with old technology for my bank accounts.
Back in February of 2018, USAA announced such a move: https://techchannel.com/Enterprise/01/2018/usaa-integrates-applications-and-data
The way this should have worked, USAA would publish these changes, and it would be incumbent upon users of their site to update their connection methods.
Finicity seems to bhave done this: https://www.finicity.com/blog/data-sharing-usaa-direct-api/
Seems this cooperation failed with Mint, or Mint does not have the resources to keep up.
Customer support has been atrocious in reading these messages, but in the end, it is Mint's responsibility to fix this. If USAA is intentionally blocking Mint, that's a C-Level problem, Mint's CEO needs to reach out and resolve.
Otherwise, it appears to be a big developer update for Mint to implement RESTful APIs, rather than old screen scraping methods - that have been around for decades.
BTW, Mint says I have "Days of history: 7985"and I've had USAA since 1986. Although I can't seem to find transactions from 21 years ago, I am invested in this problem in this issue!
