If you are a U.S. citizen or resident alien you have to pay U.S. tax on all your worldwide income, no matter where you work or where the income is from. You might qualify for the foreign earned income exclusion, which would reduce or eliminate the U.S. tax on your foreign income, but you still have to file a U.S. tax return.
