Please READ THE DETAILED REPORT OF THE ABOVE - I'm TRYING TO GET A HELP FROM A HUMAN BEING ...ARE THERE ANY LIVE HUMAN BEINGS?

Thanks for your Email-advice following my phone conversation of today (talked to 'NELSON'), CASE# [phone number removed] requesting AN URGENT HELP to resolve the following issue:

'FAILED UPDATES:  FAILED TO INSTALL UPDATE MICROSOFT INSTALLER ERROR 1603, FATAL ERROR DURING INSTALLATION'.

UNFORTUNATELY, your Email advice does NOT include any SPECIFIC STEPS to resolve this FATAL ERROR 1603 related to 'PROGRAM UPDATES', and I'm therefore including a detailed description of this event below.

This report of the FATAL ERROR of TurboTax Software has been submitted on October 7_2022 while trying to carry out the 'PROGRAM UPDATES' as requested by the TurboTax after entering all data into the Income Tax Return stating:

'I HAVE COMPLETED filling out the Return and was following the TurboTax instruction to DOWNLOAD & INSTALL the PROGRAM UPDATES as requested while preparing for the Return final review after its completion.  IN VIEW OF THIS FATAL ERROR OF the TurboTax Software,  AN IMMEDIATE RESPONSE BY TurboTax 2021/Intuit SUPPORT STAFF IS URGENTLY REQUESTED DUE TO DEADLINE OF FILING THE INCOME TAX RETURN 2021 EXTENSION by OCTOBER 17, 2022 AS REQUIRED BY IRS.'

DETAILED SUMMARY OF EVENT:
Software used:  TurboTax - Home & Business, Tax Year 2021;  PC installed to:  Intel Pentium D CPU 3.20 GHz 3.20 (2 Core) using WINDOWS 10-Home, Version 20H2 (OS Build [removed])

Description of steps taken before & after the FATAL ERROR occurred:

- was in process of downloading & installing the 'PROGRAM UPDATES' but received the following error:
'FAILED UPDATES:  FAILED TO INSTALL UPDATE MICROSOFT INSTALLER ERROR 1603, FATAL ERROR DURING INSTALLATION'.

- have then clicked the 'CHECK FOR SOLUTION' as advised by the Software and tried out ALL SUGGESTIONS INCLUDING trying to download the Software Updates from the TurboTax2021 Website, however: could NOT find any GUIDELINES how to download & install the SPECIFIC-REQUIRED 'PROGRAM UPDATES', and FURTHERMORE - NONE of the SUGGESTIONS OFFERED ANY HELP ...!!!

IN VIEW OF ALL THESE UNEXPECTED AND SERIOUS FATAL ISSUES, I consider this matter as FATAL FAILURE of the Software REQUIRING AN IMMEDIATE EMERGENCY RESPONSE OF TurboTax/Intuit SUPPORT STAFF due to DEADLINE for FILING the INCOME TAX RETURN 2021 EXTENSION on OCTOBER 17, 2022 AS REQUIRED BY IRS.

PRESENT STATUS OF THIS EVENT:

The TAX RETURN HAS BEEN COMPLETED AND STALLED/PREVENTED FROM FILING & SENDING TO IRS ONLY DUE TO THIS FATAL ERROR of the TurboTax Software when trying to download & install the Software 'PROGRAM UPDATES' which is NOT ALLOWING TO FILE MY TAX RETURN.

- after downloading & installing the TurboTax 2021 Individual - R.35 Instructions, File 'w_perrelsuperpatch'  from TurboTax Community Website, I've received the following message:  'TurboTax 2021 Setup completed successfully. Superpatch applied. Product Superpatch has been applied successfully. Please relaunch TurboTax 2021'.

HOWEVER, after TURNING OFF the Windows Firewall and relaunching the TurboTax 2021 USING 'Run as Administrator', I've been shocked to receive the SAME SOFTWARE REQUEST - 'Let's install the latest Updates. These Updates include the latest changes and other important info. It will take approximately 1 minute - NOTE: this is UNTRUE - this might have taken 5-7 MINUTES AT LEAST ...!  After clicking the request 'Update TurboTax 2021' (AGAIN !!!), I have received AGAIN (!!!) the SAME FATAL ERROR: 'FAILED UPDATES:  FAILED TO INSTALL UPDATE MICROSOFT INSTALLER ERROR 1603, FATAL ERROR DURING INSTALLATION' - COMPLETELY IGNORING PREVIOUSLY DISPLAYED MESSAGE ...'TurboTax 2021 Setup completed successfully. Superpatch applied. Product Superpatch has been applied successfully. Please relaunch TurboTax 2021' - which is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS (!!!) and indicating a fundamental bug/error ...!

- after selecting the 'Check for solution', the SAME screen stating 'FAILED UPDATES' was displayed, together with a note: 'Sorry, a solution to this issue was not found' - Released 9/23/2022'. I had reported this matter to TurboTax on October 7, 2022.

In order to resolve this serious and URGENT matter expeditiously - I SUGGEST TO PROCEED WITH a REMOTE ACCESS by the High-Level Technician.
