I am renting a room to someone and I recently found out that I have termites in my condo unit. If I have it tented am I able to deduct the cost for my unit, or am I only able to deduct a portion of the cost? Also if I'm doing improvements on a comment use bathroom how much am I able to deduct from my taxes since both of us are using it?
