If you owe tax to the IRS, then your return will show a balance due forever. TurboTax has no way of knowing when or if you paid the balance due, and the IRS will not relay that information to anyone except the tax payer that actually paid it. If you paid that balance due, then you have some type of receipt or other means of proving you paid it - such as a credit card statement or bank statement.
