Crypto has had its ups and downs, but it looks like it’s here to stay. This month, we’re discussing cryptocurrency and giving our community members another chance to win a $100 gift card. 

 

Dogecoin and Bitcoin and Ethereum, oh my! So many different types of crypto are available these days, but it can be challenging to know where to put your money and how it will affect your taxes. Whether you’re still trying to figure out what a “Doge” is or you got in on Bitcoin back when it was only a few dollars, we want to hear from you. Do you think crypto is the currency of the future? I believe crypto is the future to individuals that want to control how they use their funds. We have all seen virtual banking grow over the years and the typical brick & mortar banks are becoming less. Even bank tellers are working through screens & digital instead of in person. Crypto is growing & becoming more recognized.

Crypto is the need of the now for the future world of tomorrows currency. @SuziM @Lowe0829 you have to start wit pennys to get hundreds and now with the crypto and bitcoin you can see the difference between what our economy will look like years from now and that’s super exciting! 🫶🏼

i think its really scary they still willhave control over the money so it doesnt even matter god will provide all your needs anyway

Personally I do not understand cryptocurrency. I don't like the idea of all banking being online and funds being digital.

There are so many new coins coming out and not enough information.  There are also so many fraudulent activities by a few individuals and scammers.  For this reason, I think crypto is still not a safe investment and needs more government oversight.

Whether we agree with it or not, cryptocurrency is here to stay.  The Federal Reserve's debut of CBDC "stable coin" shows the Fed Res 'stamp of approval' (& acceptance!) on crypto & their desire to control the entire market.  I would encourage all Intuit employees to be able to intelligently discuss the high points regardless of their position. Know our products' capabilities and limits (e.g. number of transaction ceilings).  Our personal feelings or acceptance of any type of legitimate, legal financial transaction must be overlooked.

I believe crypto is definitely the future of our currency in some way or another all of our currency will be equal this is a way to do it globally wide 😉
