Why can’t I connect with my tax expert?

Once you’ve uploaded your docs and matched with your TurboTax expert, you can set up a call with them to discuss your taxes.

If your expert is running more than 5 minutes late for your call, they may be finishing up with another customer. It may also take a couple of minutes for the expert to initiate the call from their end.

If your expert misses your appointment completely for some reason, we apologize. After 5 minutes, we’ll prompt you in TurboTax to reschedule or, if you prefer, we'll match you with a different expert.

If you’re on a call with an assistant or expert and are disconnected, the assistant or expert will reach back to you. If they don’t, after a few minutes, select Help in TurboTax or call 1-800-446-8848 for help.
