You can change the properties permanently of the shortcut by right clicking it, go to properties, go to the compatibility tab and check the box,
'run this program as administrator".
This caveat is explained during the installation that you must run the program in administrative mode.
This is more of a Microsoft Windows 11 compatibility problem than it is the program.
