I’m using turbo Tax deluxe. My father is a resident of Puerto Rico and he must file a federal tax return. He received from The Bank a 1099-R from his retirement funds. Does he need to report that income in section “retirement plans and social security”? Or that income is reported in the “miscellaneous income - income from a U. S. Possession” ?
