Health insurance
My wife was a salaried employee through September and is now on my health insurance because she's an independent contractor. Can we deduct any of her insurance costs?

Self employed
No, the policy would need to be established under her name. Amounts for any month she was eligible to participate in a health plan subsidized by your employer are not self-employed health insurance deductions.
