Credit score

I recently paid off a couple debt bills. And also paid for over a year on one. When will I see the change in my credit score if any?

Credit score

Sometimes takes a couple of months and you could see little change anyway.

Credit score

It's a bit tricky.  Paying on time is the best thing you can do to raise your score.  Paying off a debt will also raise your score, but closing accounts will often lower your score because it reduces the amount of credit available to you.  If you pay off credit cards, try to leave the account open and unused, rather than closing it, because having credit available that you aren't using is better for your score than having no credit lines open that you could use if needed.

Lenders usually update the credit bureaus once a month, and the Turbo score is updated every 2 weeks, so it can take up to 6 weeks for a specific change to show up in your score.  Then, it may take several months for your score to settle into a "new normal."
