Line 9 is the "Qualified Business Income (QBI) deduction". This new deduction applies to Schedule C filers (sole proprietorships and other self-employed businesses), LLCs, partnerships, S corporations, estates, and trusts. If you had any type of this income TurboTax automatically this calculates this deduction.
