Received a 1099-G form, but never took unemployment. Box 1: EMPTY Box 2: $300 Box 3: 2015 Do I need to enter it?

Retirement tax questions

That form 1099-G is reporting what your state tax refund was from a previous year.

If you never itemize your deductions, you can ignore it.   If you do itemize, or you're not sure, enter the 1099-G here:

Federal Taxes, then

Wages & Income 

Scroll down to Other Common Income and choose Show More

Click Start next to Refunds Received for State/Local Tax Returns
