Retirement tax questions
If you have a pension that should not be taxed in PA you need to walk through all of the questions on the PA return and choose "I'm eligible; Plans eligible" This will take it out of taxable income.
Also, be sure you entered your Social Security under retirement income by clicking start next to SSA-1099 in the federal return area. That way, your Social Security will not be taxed.
