My 1099-r withdraws from my IRA is sent directly to a charity as a QCD. How do I specify that?

Retirement tax questions
First, you must have been at least 70 1/2 years of age to make a QCD, and the distribution has to be from an IRA.
I say this, because after you enter the numeric information from your 1099-R, you will be asked first if you inherited the IRA from this this distribution was made, and then you will be asked "Transfer to Charity?". Here you can indicate that all, part, or none of the distribution was for a QCD.
You won't see this question, however, if the two requirements that I list in the first paragraph aren't met.
OK?
