If in the year property is converted from rental to personal, days in the home as primary residence are not counted as personal use days, what are they counted as?

Any days after the date 'converted to personal use' are personal use days, which have no affect on your tax return.

TurboTax wants to calculate Depreciation and other Rental Expenses correctly for the time the property was considered a Rental Property (screenshot).

If you did *not* live in the house as your primary residence, 2nd home, vacation home, or other personal pleasure reasons, during the period of time it was classified as a rental, then you have ZERO personal use days. What you did with the property during the period of time it was *not* classified as a rental, does not count for anything.
