I have rental property out of state, do I need to file a non-resident state form?

I own a home in IL which I converted to rental property in 2016.  I am a resident of Georgia.  Do I need to file a non-resident tax form for IL?

Yes, you should file a non-resident return for Illinois for the rental property. If you have losses, you can carry them forward to potentially use to offset any gain when you eventually sell.

How do you enter the depreciation for those properties?
