Hi! We need to report rental income/expenses on our house which we do not own?

We rent our home in Denver and rent our extra bedroom out on Airbnb. Going through the rental property income/expense section only really gives you the option stating you own the home. Should we be reporting this somewhere else?

Thanks!

Yes, report your AirBnB activity under Rental Properties as if you owned the home. You have no mortgage interest or property taxes, of course. But otherwise, you can report your income and expenses from this activity.

Note that if you rent for 14 days per less during the year, you are not required to report the income.
