TurboTax calculates rental and personal portions of expenses in the Rental section. You would need to enter all the particluars about the house and indicate that you rent part of it out. See the screen shot below.

Shared spaces such as the living room and kitchen are not included in rental expenses. Divide the home by square footage; personal/rental.
