Education expenses: Box 2 on my 1098T includes tuition for fall 2016 and winter 2017. How do I account for just 2016? Grant/scholarship figure in Box 5 is just for 2016.
In
the 1098-T screen, click on the link "What if this is not what I paid the school" underneath box 2. You will then be able to enter the actual
amounts paid in 2016.
