I have mileage to report on taxes but I am not self employed. Is this done under income and expenses even though it says "self-employed"

Deductions & credits
If you received a W-2 to report the income for which you incurred the mileage, you'd enter it as an Employment Expense, under Job Related Expenses. This would be a vehicle expense.
If you received a 1099-MISC for this income, you'd report it as a business expense.
