Reported $5K in Dep. Care FSA via my job for single child, but TurboTax still says I'm eligible for the Dependent Care Tax Credit. Is this an error? If so, how can I fix?
Generally, you cannot claim the FSA and the dependent care tax credit for the same expenses. However, if your expenses exceed $5,000, then you may be entitled to claim both.
