I'm on the mortgage section about real estate taxes. The 1098 (box 10) is blank. But under escrow reconciliation, there is an amount for taxes paid. Same thing?
Yes. This is the amount of real estate taxes that were paid from your escrow account during the year. In order to enter these taxes paid into Turbo Tax Online, please select Deductions & Credits under the Federal Taxes tab.
