I included a Charitable Donation, of over $700 dollars, on my Tax Return for 2016. I am curious as to why this didn't qualify for any Tax credits/Additional Refund $?
A charitable donation is an itemized deduction. For you to get a tax break, the total of all your itemized deductions must be more than the standard deduction.
