I don't know if I used standard deduction on my vehicle the on my first year's tax return

There is an amount that shows up on line 9 of schedule C. The only other place it shows up is on form 4562 - which shows a depreciation amount of  0 in line 28.

It sounds like you used the standard mileage rate method that year. Depending on the year, if you were to divide Schedule C, Line 9 by the mileage rate, it would give you an idea of how many miles you drove for the business. You could tell, then, if that made sense.
