How to enter DBA expenses

Hi there. I have a graphic design business and created a dance business as a DBA under it. Do I enter my expenses of the dance business under my design business? Or do I add another business and enter those expenses separately?

Deductions & credits

You should enter these businesses on two separate Schedules C.

After you've entered the first one, you can enter the second as follows:

  1. Click the Business tab
  2. Click Continue
  3. Click I'll choose what I work on
  4. Click Start (or Update) next to Business Income and Expenses
  5. Click the blue +Add another business
