Adoption carryover
We adopted a sibling pair in 2012, but Turbo keeps telling us we have a carry over even though it is past the 5 years. Why? We click "no" for a carryover, but it keeps telling us we have a carryover. Because of this I can't transfer from previous year and have to keep putting in individual returns year after year. Why? How do I stop the carryover? I don't want to be held liable like I was with state tax when our solar carried over for 2 years. We ended up getting audited and paying back almost $3K to the state.

Deductions & credits
Thank you. I did what you said and it doesn't ask me if I paid. It goes straight to Adoption Carryforward nd telling me I have an adoption carry credit forward, which I do not. Then it tells me to enter my sons information again. It says I must enter the information about my kids so I can use the credit this year.
