State tax: should I add W-2 from another state?
Hello there,
I moved from IN to AZ for a new job during 2020, so I have 2 W-2 forms. When filing the IN state tax, should I include a copy of the W-2 form from my AZ employer (and vice-versa)? The jobs did not overlap and I was not a resident from one state while working on the other. Thank you in advance!

No. Your residency and wages are very clear cut. You need only enter the wages earned while a resident of that state. IN part year return with IN income and then AZ part year with AZ income. No overlap.

That is helpful, thank you! Also, I only need to attach a copy of the W2 (I am mailing the forms) in their respective states right? No need to send the IN W2 to AZ.

Technically, you do need to attach all W-2's to each state, as that is what the instructions say. As a practical matter, however, as long as the W-2 you attach shows the state wages and taxes withheld for that state, you will probably be OK.
